Customers have been attracted to the Acacia Energy pay as you go plans, but they have discovered that the Acacia Energy payment structure isn’t as cut and dry as they might have preferred. One reviewer  explained the additional fees she encountered when using the Acacia Energy payment line.

She discovered that when she paid for her Acacia Energy account, “…it says no deposit pay as much as you want so I pay $20 they turn around and don't turn on my electricity I call they say all you have to pay $30 to get it started nowhere does it say that…”

She also found that her Acacia Energy online payment wasn’t covering as much as she had hoped. She explain that “…the 1st day I spent 90 kW per hour my average was $8,50 A-day. It has been 3 weeks and I have paid over $200 in my average is now up to $23 A-day but yet I'm still only using a 100 kW per hour how in the h*** does it go up…”
