The Level 1 protection package, provided by TripMate, covers protects self-drive and customized bookings, which can be canceled up to 72 hours prior to departure for any reason.

Customers will receive a credit for future travel equaling the full amount paid, minus the cost of the Travel Protection Plan Cost and fees. Customers must rebook vacations using original air carriers at least 72 hours prior to the initial departure time and complete travel at least one year from the original booking date. Customers are advised to visit TripMate for further information.

The company's Level 2 protection package, provided by TripMate, covers travel on offered escorted vacations, golf, or cruise vacations. It must be purchased at time of booking. Customers will receive a credit for future travel equaling the full amount paid, minus the cost of the Travel Protection Plan Cost and fees for reasons such as death, sickness, injury or certain other covered reasons, which were not fully explained.
