We checked the Direct Express website to confirm how long the cards take to be delivered. There was no indication of how long the delivery of new Direct Express cards takes. However, the Direct Express customer service FAQs section notes that replacement cards take 7 to 10 days to arrive via standard mail.

It took me 2 days to finally get a rep. My card was hacked and my card was deactivated, at first I was getting the run around, finally I got thru and I was issue a new card and money was missing. I was charged a $4.00 fee twice for the new card and $13.50 twice, I was told I would be reimbursed and I wasn't I called again and waited an hour before I got to speak to someone and now I have to wait and see if I get reimbursed. I won't be using that card again I am closing the account, and they are also being investigated by the government. A horrible experience.
