When you visit the RushCard website, you’ll find the benefits of their cards explained on the first page. With a new card, the company explains that you’ll be paid faster, have multiple options for funding your RushCard, and you’ll be protecting your money more than simply using cash.

Rushcard.com also explains the basic functions and availability of the mobile app as well as answering common questions about what to do if you misplace your card or how to use the RushCard debit card to pay some bills online.

There is also a section of the website for existing RushCard customers. When you click on the homepage link for existing RushCard customers, you are taken to a login screen to access your existing accounts.

On this page, you can log in to your account or activate a new RushCard. All of the options there require customers to have a login or to have a new card to activate. There is little information provided for prospective customers other than a privacy agreement and a RushCard contact information page.

There is also a link to a page with legal terms and fees. On this page, you can find the breakdown of fees associated with the two types of RushCards, pay-as-you-go or Rush unlimited. The pay-as-you-go cards have fewer fees associated with them. Rush unlimited has more benefits but also more fees.

There is a $1.95 inactivity fee for the pay-as-you-go RushCard.

The Green Dot website explains that Green Dot cards are the “#1 debit card in retail.” The many options for a Green Dot card are offered on the website as well. Green Dot customers have options for a reloadable debit card, a pay-as-you-go card, a cashback debit card, and “the ultimate mobile bank account”, which is heavily promoted on the site.

According to the Green Dot.com, the GO2 Bank card is a “seamless” experience that is tied to the Green Dot financial app for smartphones. With the card and the app, customers are eligible for up to $200 in overdraft protection and can track their spending and balances online. The personal banking and mobile app feature heavily on the company’s website.

On the products page of the Green Dot website, the four options for debit cards are explained through a chart of features and benefits. According to the page, three of the cards have no monthly fees, although two of those waive fees with direct deposits.
