POF currently holds a 1.7-star rating on PissedConsumer.com based on over 2250 rated reviews. Most customers are dissatisfied, with only 6% indicating that they would recommend POF to others.

2. Is Plenty of Fish Free?

So, the answer is yes - it is free to download, sign up, and create a profile on the POF app or desktop site. However, the basic membership comes with limited features, including a restricted number of first contacts, the ability to view a limited number of profiles and to upload limited images. According to a help center article on their website, there is no Plenty of Fish phone number. They categorically state that “Plenty of Fish does not currently offer phone support” and caution customers that anyone calling them on phone claiming to be POF’s phone support is a scam.
POF live chat
To reach out via the POF live chat support feature, click on the “Support” icon on the lower right-hand corner of the website. Users also can find live support on the POF app. The customer service representatives are available between 8am-1pm PST. The wait times depend on the customer volume, and you will be notified of your position in the queue.
POF email
The best way for members to get support for account related issues is to email Plenty of Fish. POF emphasizes that customers should contact them through the email address they used to register for their account. Otherwise, the POF customer support will not be able to verify their identity. Alternatively, you can contact POF by filling the contact form provided on their contact page or using the “Submit ticket” option. Both features are available on the POF app and desktop site.

4. How to Delete My POF Account?
If you have had a negative experience with the dating site, you may be keen to know how to delete a Plenty of Fish account. The steps for deleting a POF account vary depending on the device as follows:
Android Device
Deleting the account is not supported in the app on Android devices. In this case, you would need to login to your POF account through a browser, either on a desktop or Android device.

5. How to Cancel POF Subscription?
The POF membership policy stipulates that subscriptions purchased on the platform will be active until the member cancels. It also cautions users to disable the subscription status at least 24 hours before the expiration of their current membership.

According to a POF help center article, subscriptions are generally final and non-refundable. However, under specific circumstances, you may be eligible for a POF refund. The Plenty of Fish refund policy, as outlined in their Terms of Service, specifies special terms for some states.
Members residing in Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Rhode Island have the right to cancel their subscription without penalty before midnight of the third business day from the day they subscribed. On the other hand, members residing in the EU are entitled to a full refund within 14 days from the day the subscription starts.
